A State of Champions
There's no better place to be a sports fan. Massachusetts is home to several championship-winning professional sports teams: the 3-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, the 7-time World Champion Boston Red Sox, the 17-time champion Boston Celtics, and the winners of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion and 6-time Cup champions, the Boston Bruins and the most recent MLL Champion Boston Cannons.
People here love their sports, making for a great atmosphere at any sporting event. But it's not just pro sports. There's top amateur baseball action with the Cape Cod Summer League and 6 minor league teams located all across the state. The Head of the Charles Regatta is the country's largest regatta. And we're also home to thriving collegiate teams like Harvard, Boston College and Boston University, the latter 2 have accounted for 3 of the last 4 men's hockey National Championships.
While Boston is one of the best sports cities in the country, there are great sports teams and venues all over Massachusetts. Search below to find out where you can see a game while you're here.
