Islands and Seacoast Cycle Tour

Dates: Sun, Sep 8, 2013 ~ Fri, Sep 13, 2013
Times: 9am-3pm

Description:
Six day bike tour exploring southern Massachusetts's stunning coastline, the island of Martha's Vineyard and the Rhode Island coast too. On the Vineyard, bike to the much-photographed red Cliffs of Aquinnah and the Gay Head lighthouse, and stay in charming Edgartown. Stroll the historic streets lined with stately Greek Revival homes built by whaling captains. Back on the mainland, bike flat, quiet roads in a pastoral region of heritage coastal farmland with vineyards and horse farms. Taste award-winning wines, view magnificent yachts from all over the world, enjoy a lantern-light tour with a local historian, walk nature trails at a national wildlife refuge with panoramic views of ocean, beach and dunes at the height of the Monarch butterfly migration and much more. Lodging, most meals, bike rental, guides, van support, activities, admissions and more are included. Please see the website for more information.
