Situated in the tranquil countryside of the extraordinary Blackstone River Valley, nestled under the shade of tall oak trees on 200 acres, Southwick's Zoo is home to hundreds of animals, like chimpanzees, lions, tigers, giraffes, camels, mandrill monkeys and many endangered species including white rhinos. Popular venues at Southwick's Zoo include: The Earth Discovery Center, Elephant Facts and Fiction, animal rides, Bird Talk, kiddie rides, petting zoo, Woodland Express, Skyfari Sky Ride, deer forest, picnic grounds, a play park, food venues, and the Purple Peacock Gift Shop. Along with the entertainment you will find stunning, large, naturalistic habitats for the Zoo's animals. Packages available for corporate outings, special events, and birthday parties. Open daily mid April through to mid October, 10am to 5pm, including holidays. Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs available, plus plenty of free parking. We accept all major credit cards.
