Built in 1820s, pristinely restored with a coved ceiling reflecting its maritime heritage. National Historic Landmark, located in area formerly known as New Guinea, home to Nantucket's African American community. Museum also includes Florence Higginbotham House (1845), home of an early 20th century black domestic. Significant architectural features from the late 1700s.
