Description:
The Fall River Historical Society's mission is to procure, preserve, and exhibit all types of artifacts relating to the rich and varied history of the city of Fall River, Mass., and to promote public understanding through education. Housed in a French Second Empire mansion that was once a station on the Underground Railroad and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Society owns the world's largest collection of artifacts related to Lizzie Borden and the Borden murder mystery.
