Explore 4 1/2 miles of wooded trails through a former working forest and trek to a summit that rewards with panoramic views encompassing Massachusetts' Mount Wachusett and Vermont's Green Mountains. The ascent from the main entrance to the summit of Peaked ('pea-kid') Mountain is a 467-foot gain in elevation that is strenuous in places. From the main parking lot, on the 'Peaked Tract,' fire roads lead through quiet woods that attract songbirds and birds of prey. Visit the Miller Forest Tract for a stroll along Lunden Pond.
