Spectacle Island is visible from Boston, includes two sandy beaches, a visitor center with a broad wrap-around porch, and a large tented area where you can watch a spectacular sunset over Boston's skyline. The tent can hold about 200 people for a seated event and 250 for a standing reception. Spectacle Island is host to many outdoor weddings, as the large gazebo offers breathtaking views and is a perfect backdrop for any ceremony. Spectacle Island is about a 30 minute boat ride from Boston. Summer Shack Catering is the exclusive caterer on the island and is happy to customize a particular menu for any event, as well as provide staffing, table and chair rentals, bar service, linen selection, flower arrangements, creative decorations, and more.
