Russell Orchards

Traditional New England hard ciders marked the beginning of Russell Orchard's winery, which is located near Ipswich Bay. Since then, they have expanded fruit production and added many new fruit wines, with a variety for every palate! Enjoy wine tastings in the farm's store.

Coastal Farming Walking Tours
9/18 & 9/25, 11am - 12:30pm

These free guided walking tours are offered as part of Trails and Sails, and explore Cogswell's Grant in its capacity as a working farm from the seventeenth century to the present day. Walking through the fields and down to the marsh, learn about the rich history of all the families that lived and farmed here, and how coastal farming has evolved over nearly four centuries.

41st Annual Bourne Scallop Festival
9/24 - 9/26

The focus of the festival is, of course, our great Scallop or Herb-roasted Chicken dinners, prepared by J & J Concessions, Roger & Hope Pinard of Lakeville, Massachusetts. You can enjoy your meal and listen to entertainment in the Big Tent or take your meal outside...and enjoy the view of the Cape Cod Canal and the famous Railroad Bridge.

The 7th Annual Working Waterfront Festival
9/25 - 9/26

A Festival celebrating the commercial fishing industry and educating the public about the lives, skills and traditions of fishermen, processors and all of the others who are part of the working waterfront. The Festival will feature tours of fishing boats, demonstrations and contests of occupational skills, food and music.
