The carousel dates from the 1990s (the people at the Frog Pond said "I think it was 1993"). The contract to run the Frog Pond goes to bid every three years so someone new may be running the Frog Pond in the not too distant future and there may or may not be a carousel. It is being replaced in 2013 by a new permanent carousel.
