I work for a fence company here in Houston. Last year I had a chance to go to Campbell Falls with my boss and a couple other guys that I work with. Before going, I have never even heard of Campbell Falls. My boss is actually from Connecticut, so he knew about it. I can tell everyone that it is truly an amazing experience. Let me warn you though: the water is extremely cold and powerful. Great place to go to!!!

We visited Tannery Falls last weekend. It was rough. On the way to the falls we came across a sign saying "Road not maintained. Drive on your own risk". We decided not to take the risk and hiked it instead. At the parking area there actually was a car and we even saw the park ranger drive by to check on the picnic tables near the parking lot. The hike was long and steep, but definitely worth it. It's truly incredible scenery. We will definitely go back soon.

P.S. On the way to the falls we came across an old graveyard. The interesting part about it is that it was in the middle of nowhere in the woods. If someone has any information or know the story of the place, please let us know. I'm sure there is a great story behind it.
